Recently, Pandion Games sent out a note about a game jam they were doing on itch.io based on their newly released Hints & Hijinks solo RPG system. It’s a simple little system that provides you with a bunch of prompts that lead to a bit of storytelling. I was intrigued by the framework and modified it to fit with Scroungers, the TTRPG that I’m working on that involves talking animals, magic forest mysteries, and scrounging.
All you need to play Scrounging & Snouting is a few randomizing agents (dice and a deck of cards) and some pen and paper. It’s a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon when the rest of your role-playing pals can’t come out and play.
